Have you ever wondered how Internet marketing experts manage to send out just one email and make tons of money? I have, and I’ve been on a quest to discover what they do and how they do it so that I can do the same.
The income claims often sound too good to be true, but I personally know people with responsive lists who are making a very nice living on the internet so I know it can be done, and I know that you don’t have to sell your soul to do it.
Is the money really in the list?
Most experts will tell you that the money is in the list, but that’s not completely true. you can have a huge list who rarely buy what’s on offer.
A big mailing list isn’t the key to wealth. It really isn’t. What counts is the quality of the people on your list, and by that I mean that you need a list of buyers ratrher than a list of subscribers.
If your subscribers don’t buy when you send out an email, it doesn’t matter if you have a million people on your list. If the people on your list rarely buy from you, you’re not going to make much money.
The “secret” to making money online, is having a list of people who willingly hand over money when you invite them to. It’s as simple as that.
Do you know how to build a list of buyers?
What stands in the way of most people making money online is not knowing how to build a list of buyers. Having a huge list of subscribers isn’t enough. Do your subscribers buy from you? Probably not unless you’ve already cracked the code; most marketers only get around a 1-2% response when they send out an email.
If you have a huge list, you might be satisfied with 1%, but I’m sure you’d rather have 10% of your list buy. If you had a list of 2000 That would be 200 sales!
Which do you think is easier…getting 20,000 people on your list and hoping that 1% buy so you can get 200 sales, or getting 2000 buyers on your list and having at least 10% buy whenever you email?
Getting 2000 buyers is actually much easier. The truth is that most people with massive lists don’t get a 1-2% response rate when they email. It’s more like 0.05%, because a lot of emails go unopened and most of those who do open their emails don’t buy. That means you might have to build a list of 400,000 people to get 200 sales!
Quality counts more than quantity for most things and that’s certainly true for mailing lists. If you focus your efforts on getting buyers to join your list, you’ll be much better off.
